Research
This project was created via the collaboration of members of the Lens Media Lab, including Leah Lackey and Austin Canales, and Syracuse University PhD student Arick Grootveld. The default machine learning models were developed by research done by Leah, Arick, and professor Andrew Klein.
Interested in collaborating? The texture modeling notebook
(lml_texture_modeling.ipynb) is not currently published, so please get in touch using the contact
details below.
The Lens Media Lab closed in 2025 after a decade at Yale’s Institute for the Preservation of Cultural Heritage. Its page at IPCH records the lab’s work and what became of its collection, and the lab site remains online as an archive.
