Getting Started

First, navigate to the Texture Toolbox page. Provide a name for your collection. Logging in is optional, but your uploaded data will be lost upon leaving the page.

Select the images you would like to upload to your collection. To select multiple images, hold down the Shift key while selecting images of your choice.

Once the images are selected, click the “Submit Uploaded Images” button. A message will appear when the upload is complete.

Upload metadata in .csv format and click the “Submit Metadata” button. Images can still be processed without metadata, but they will be marked as unknown. A template for metadata can be downloaded from the Texture Toolbox page.

Once everything is submitted, select the blue “Process Data” button at the bottom of the page. A message will appear once processing is complete.

Next, select the yellow “View Results” button to navigate to the next page and see the top matches within the Lens Media Lab’s reference collection.
